Dinner (East Pier Beach Bar & Brasserie)

This was a first for the User Group and proved to be a big hit!  Many thanks to Richard Lindsay, Managing Director MapInfo Australia, who ended up picking up the bill for just about everything!!!  Rumour has it Richard was last seen heading off to local software developers NCS with Albert for a jam session.

Yes, dinner is definitely a permanent part of future meetings!

Meeting

Although we didn't quite stick to the agenda times,  each presentation proved to be informative and interesting.  The days refreshments seemed to relieve the odd sore head from festivities the night before.  Many thanks to the in-house catering of the Napier City Council.

Also a big thank you to Richard Lindsay, Managing Director MapInfo Australia, for taking time out to pay a visit to the New Zealand users at the North Island and South Island meetings.  We all appreciate the insight into MapInfo the company (past, present and future) you were able to give us all.  We hope the guitar you bought in Napier gives you many years of pleasure and reminds you of a great bunch of MapInfo Users across the ditch!
