Problem : The annotations settings and tools are quite limited and could be improved with additional setting and drawing tools.

 Solution : The following would increase the annotations functionality – Allow user to set line widths and line styles for polylines and polygon boundaries, Allow user to set fill patterns including background visibility for patterns, Provide additional font settings, eg. font angle, bold, halo, etc., Allow multi-line text to be entered into text box, Provide a circle drawing tool, Provide a symbol drawing tool and allow symbol size and appearance to be set by user, Allow user to save and recall annotations.
