Problem : When Exponare creates a databind it attaches “_Selection” to the end of the layer name. Because of the 32 character limit for layer names in Exponare / MapXtreme if a layer name is greater than 22 characters in length, the databind won’t work because when “_Selection” is added to the name it will be more than 32 characters in length.

 Solution : In the short term modify Exponare to allow 42 characters in the databind selection name, so that the full 32 characters can be used for the layer name. In the longer term, alter MapXtreme, Spatialware and Easyloader (and any other MapInfo products with a 32 character name limit) to allow 255 character layer names.
