I have finally go around to installing SQL Server 2005 and SpatialWare 4.9. I have processed the CRS bulk data extract from LINZ much quicker. If you want to give this a go, and have some reasonable understanding of SQL Server, I have uploaded the import scripts and base geometry building script into the Downloads area (under MapBasic).
